It was a perfect cloudless Autumn morning when I found this Kahu watching me quietly from his perch. He seemed to have no objections to me taking photos and enjoying the warm early morning light enveloping him  Soft creams and browns in his breast feathers contrast beautifully with his blue cere and are found in turn in the branches and sky surrounding him.  The fine detail in our common Harrier Hawk is amazing and I was so grateful for this photoshoot.
