While living in Australia’s nice warm climate I had opportunity to indulge in an aviary full of Zebra Finches. There constant chitter-chatter kept the world lively…as if five children didn’t do that already. But I have always gained a sense of peace watching them flit here and there and go about their lives. Grateful for the memories as they  come flooding back while I paint them.
