The witch doctor is quietly alive and well in Aboriginal communities. This traditional healer has a power that is revered and he holds a strong sway over people. In this painting I wanted to show this component of a deeply spiritual people. Copper and gold overlaying on the tassels have this painting changing hues from different angles…always interesting!
