More Intimately Acquainted

After all the studies, each one getting the Sunflower and I more deeply acquainted, the pleasure is all mine to have moved on to a full painting. These particular Sunflowers are just as they happened to have fallen in the vase, but, Oh! How luscious they looked with the light falling on the tips of the petals and shining luminously through the leaves. I loved it!
